Week 11:Wireframe edits and Desktop Design

 8/1/ 2022: MONDAY

9:00-9:30:figma wireframe edits

9:30-11:00: team meeting

11:00- 11:30: meeting with Jerry and Rose

11:30-2:00: wireframe edits and research

I started work a little bit early today in order to make those edits to the design and also worked on them during the team meeting while I listened. I don't have a lot of time during my sessions so I need to maximize my time. Once the meeting ended I immediately had a meeting with Rose and Jerry and they both liked the edits and it was deemed time for me to move onto the design process. They instructed me to refresh my brain by looking back through my inspiration material and getting some ideas before I jumped in. My favorite two sites were for Cipher health as well as Eleanor health. Their designs took a serious topic such as personal health and made it inviting and light hearted which is what I was trying to convey in my own design.

8/2/ 2022: TUESDAY

9:00-10:00: Rose and Jerry meeting

10:00-2:00: designing desktop site

Today was relatively independent minus the morning meeting with Rose and Jerry. They went through my design so far which was very rough because I was experiencing some major creative block. Their critique helped me get a little bit more on the right path but it felt like my brain wasn't working. I was editing things without a vision which was blocking me from progress and it was just not working. I wanted to step away and take a break but since the amount of time I have to work on this ended at 2:00 I had very limited time. So I ended with something that was not great but I was honest with them that I was not feeling the outcome and would come back on my own later in the week to fix it. Which I did.

HIGHLIGHTS: figma is a platform i am confident in so I knew I would have no trouble using it

PROBLEMS: Not super happy with final look due to lack of time

ISSUES: Didnt like the design so I had to fix it later on.

Here are some snippets of my development on the desktop site:
