Week 2: Prevalent Storyboard Continued

Having been friends with the owner I already knew the story of how Ridge Marketing came to be. But they

are founded by a couple where the husband runs more the creative, design side of the business and the wife

runs more the marketing, accountant side of the business and they have grown together from there. In the

recent years they have added more staff and have been acknowledged as a "mid-size" company and have

been gaining bigger clients such as Tingley, Prevalent and more. They still however have a very close relationship

with each client to keep things personalized and customer driven.

5/31/ 2022: TUESDAY

9:00-9:30: Business Made Simple: video learning series

9:30-10:30: Meeting with Jerry and Rob about updates for Prevalent storyboards

11:00-12:45: worked on illustrations for storyboards

1:00- 1:30: rob and jerry meeting about updates

Started today with some Business Made Simple learning videos that focus on making you a value driven professional and set you up for success. The notes I took highlighted what characteristics you should have as a VDP such as seeing yourself as an economic product and trying your best to give others a big ROI. After that I met with Rob and Jerry about my tasks for the day and it was decided to make specific scenes needed to show the client updated storyboards for the afternoon. I got started working on that but when I was doing it I didn't feel that proud of the work. It didn't feel right quite yet. I sent a picture to Jerry and asked for some help and he helped guide me in the right direction. It did look a lot better after that but still, I was super satisfied with it. That also made me nervous that I wasn't doing a good job for them either but I guess I can only do better next week. After one last update meeting it was ready to be sent off to Prevalent for them to see our progress.

To do list: google analytics and more business made simple videos.

HIGHLIGHTS: I enjoyed working by myself on the illustrations, made me feel more normal

PROBLEMS: I was nervous about how to make all the pieces cohesive from different sources.

ISSUES: A lot of anxiety about performance
