I personally really look up to both Rose and Jerry in Ridge Marketing. Both of them were really close to my training in the internship and gave me different projects. Jerry had started as freelance then moved to the agency later so a lot of the problems I showed in my file structure and formats were things he also had to adjust to so her was really helpful in giving me tips so that I could work better in a team setting. I aspire to be more like Rose in the sense that she is quick witted and innovative. Every time I felt I didn't know the exact answer to a solution she seemed to know immediately what to do and the direction to head in (which is probably why she is the head of the design team). But a lot of it she says is due to experience as well. So hopefully one day I will be able to preform like her too.

9:00-9:10: Business Made Simple: video learning series

11:15- 11:45: meeting with rob about Tingley research

As usual I watched and took notes on another Business Made Simple video; this one highlighted the importance of not seeing yourself as a victim but rather a hero in order to help your personal growth. After which I joined our Monday team meeting to go over client updates with the whole team. Then came time for a one on one with Rob to go over my tasks for the day. He assigned me to some research work in which he showed me their email campaigns for Tingley and their idea of trying to reach out to customers who post with the Tingley products to ask to use both their photos and stories to have a more authentic component to add to their email campaign. So to do that I went through their shopify and researched every buyer that spent over 3000 on Tingley. I went to their site to see if they fit our target audience and also scanned through their social media to see if they had any images that included Tingley products that we may be able to use. I organized all possible clients into a chart that included their information, site, contact and products previously purchased.

Today I started working on gaining my Google Analytics certification, as Rob says its something good to add to my resume and sets me a step ahead. I also listened in on a meeting with Tingley about their market trends and how to go about increasing conversion and sales. It was interesting to see all the research and data that had been done on previous sales in order to identify causes and possible solutions. For Tingley, their site isn't doing well B2C because of the sharp price increases in both products in shipping as well as their return process not being advertised enough so customers aren't as well to risk spending so much money.
HIGHLIGHTS: Business Made Simple videos were surprisingly very motivational
PROBLEMS: Google analytics is the most boring thing in history.
ISSUES: I was very sick while working so every time I finished I would fall asleep for hours on the couch.
