Ridge is already a close knit family because of its small size so the environment encourages responsibility since people play multiple roles in the company and must all cooperate and work together. So this promotes them to do their best for each other and improves moral due to the relationship they all have. They also use platforms such as teamwork to log time and this is how the company is able to bill clients for the work done so the team must preform and explain how they worked and how long in order to receive compensation. So everyone's work is properly appreciated as money is always a big motivator. They also have rewards like team events, meals and even on Fridays in the summer they get to leave work earlier to enjoy the weekend so they have a solid work life balance. It is hard to think of new things to add as everyone seems rather happy to be there. They even get to work from home if they want to while on Wednesday everyone is required to come in.

9:30-11:00: team meeting
11:00- 2:00: google analytics certification
Today’s meeting was pretty routine, we rolled through all the clients per usual. But even though it is a normal meeting that we have every week, it is clear the team likes each other and enjoy being with each other because it is very casual and everyone jokes and laughs with each other before getting to work which is nice. It seems that there wasn't much for me to do today so I was sent off to work independently on my google analytics certification which was boring not going to lie but it is something I just need to get done.

9:00-11:00: Business Made Simple: video learning series
11:30-2:00: Google Analytics Certification
Today was a little lonely since Rob had a family emergency so I unfortunately had a lot of notes and independent work to catch up on. It was literally 5 hours of just note taking and learning. The business made simple videos were fine as they are somewhat entertaining and I just took notes while watching the videos. Rob has also recommended me to buy the book as well to keep with me that follows along with the video series. Otherwise the Google analytics certification is going very slow. Each module is over an hour long and since I also take notes which makes it take even longer. It is purely just reading, note taking and testing my knowledge.
HIGHLIGHTS: Flew through a bunch of business made simple videos
PROBLEMS: Hated google analytics per usual!
ISSUES: Rob had to leave due to unforeseen circumstance
