8/15/ 2022: MONDAY
9:00-9:30: journaling organization
9:30-11:00: vello health edits during team meeting
11:00-12:00: Rose and Jerry meeting
12:00-2:00: mobile site edits
It's the last week! I started this week off by journaling because there are a lot of expectations in what I produce at the end of this journey including these daily entries, weekly blogs and even a book. For my book I decided to just make it almost like a diary that follows what I did each day and include imagery like I have in my blog.
I worked on Vello Health during our meeting because for me I need to maximize my time since I have to present this tomorrow morning. I also have to talk to Rob about my progress, experience which brings into question my progress with my Google Certification which I haven't finished! So I am nervous because I know he is going to ask about it. So I need to figure that out. Right after our meeting I met with Jerry and Rose for feedback on my mobile site and they had a few comments but mostly we talked about Jerry’s cute baby Emma who was sitting on his lap during the meetings as well as my presentation tomorrow, which I am so nervous for!!! I will only be presenting to Rob and my team so that makes me feel better though.
8/16/ 2022: TUESDAY (LAST DAY!!!!!)
9:00-9:30: presentation
9:30-10:00: meeting with Rose
10:00- 2:00: personal internship journaling
Today is the day! Morning presentation which I had practiced many times throughout the night and early that morning. While it was actually going on I felt very nervous but Rob did a good job of making me more comfortable and making it feel more casual. He asked me questions about my design and also showed me the version his team made after Vello meetings in which they changed their direction, just to show me how different directions can be done and how an idea can completely change based on clients' wants. I was a little proud though because I saw that the design team used some ideas I created in my own version. He also told me he would be showing them mine as well, as they were having a meeting with them immediately after ours was over.
With that over, I had a final talk with Rose and Jerry as they were big guides throughout this journey and helped me improve not only my designs but my practice so it was a little bit sad to say goodbye. After I was on my own so I did some final journaling and worked on the book I would be submitting for this internship before closing off my laptop for the final time for the summer.
HIGHLIGHTS: YAY I AM DONE
PROBLEMS: had to really push to get the design done in time
ISSUES: super nervous for presentation
